I have a Mini iPod and use it in my IS. I have tried the FM Modulator...but it sucks. Went and got a $20 cassette adapter thing like you use with a portable CD player. Sound BEAUTIFUL! Damn near CD quality. Sucks having the wire, but any other way you do it (unless you spend a lot of money) will just sound like ****.

yup, rominl. Once we thought that with the FM Mod, we could play mp3s from the super slim lap top. it was really feable...

It depends. Most FM Mods run on the freq. 104 thru 108. So if you have a bunch of radio stations in your area that are a high freq. then it will be alot more fuzzy and distorted. Get the cassette. It is the cheapest, and the best.

My roomie uses the cassete adapter that I gave him. We tried the FM module thing and the sgnal would fade in and out. Tons of static in certain areas of the city as well.
