Since my car sits outside most workdays, I'm worried about protecting the interior from sun damage with spring/summer coming. At some point, higher-end cars starting having UV-blocking windshields (my '02 Saab has this). But I haven't found any info on whether LS4s have this feature. If not, I'm thinking of adding a retractable sunshade like the Eclipse. Had this on my last car, and it was barely noticeable when open, and very fast and easy to open/close.

 

iirc the 98-00 have SOME sort of UV protection on all the glass.

 

My '98 is tint-less and just a couple weeks ago I thinking about how the interior looked pretty good for a 10 year old CA/AZ car.

You could always put a high percent tint on the front to make sure the protection is there. -- Especially if your other windows are tinted, it would not be noticeable.

 

you can put v-kool 70% on the windshield...it'll block heat and block harmful uv stuffs. it's so light you can barely know it's tinted.
