my only issue with this is the idea that the 45 series is much harsher than the 60, yes, it is SLIGHTLY less comfortable, but remember that lexus used the same size (245/45/18) as the OEM tire size for the LS430 and even offers a 19"
on the LS460.

True, but both have nice soft, compliant OEM suspension. I'm just keeping that out there to beware of when changing wheels AND lowering.

Pardon me for insisting:

I got in touch with my local tire/suspension/performance dealer. He rung up the H&R and the Eibach factory hotlines, but came up empty: No springs for the F2.

Now: Are you guys sure about the availability of those H&R and Eibach springs?
Or is it just the Germans living on the back side of the moon when it comes to equipment Japanese?

Could you please provide H&R / Eibach spring specifics?

Thx - kroebje

eibach doesnt make the springs for the LS anymore, H&R does, tirerack.com carries them.

iirc i have the spring rates listed in the UCF20/21 FAQ near the top of the LS400 forum

just got my sloppy struts replaced with KYB GR2/H&R springs
H&R lists a 1 inch drop but i think it went a bit more down and it will settle some too i believe
so far i like it

now back to the tire shop to get the 20's put on

btw: i can ask the store for the H&R part# for them springs if you want

Uh - OK. And now I'm going to find out if that # also fits a mid-98.
Thanks for helping me.

95-00 is all ONE generation, UCF2x.

suspension and chassis components between 95-97 and 98-00 models are interchangeable.
