Pic Request: Lowering Springs on stock wheels
Hey guys i got some 16in silver bbs mesh wheels on my car, just wanted to see what stock sized wheels look like with a drop. Tried searching and only found one pic of the Maroon Tanabe LS
Prefer pics of DF210 Springs or others
Thanks

The only comparison I have is with oem shocks with 130K on them, so they were VERY soft and squishy, and unnerving around corners and when stopping quickly.
That being said, it IS stiffer. No kind of lowering will yield a stock ride. However, having a 40min commute, it is a very agreeable set up (DF210+KYB GR2). Also, for my purposes, it is lowered just right, as in the last year since they have been on the car, I have only scraped the headers once due to a huge speed bump. Plus, the handling is vastly improved...as you can imagine.
Highly recommended setup!

Hello there,
you keep referring to the Tanabe DF210 springs, which lower the car by appr. 1.5 inches.
I'd like to stay rather on the up-side: no more than 0.8 in. The Tanabe NF210 springs seem to be the right choice.
BUT - not available for the F2.
Not available. Is that true?
Any way out?
Any idea?
Thank you - kroebje

To be as clear as I can on a subjective issue....the ride is great. It is NOT Lexus OEM, but that is to be expected. If all of the cars I ride in/drive, my LS400 on DF210s and KYB GR2s is still the best ride.
TJW98LS - the LS400 chassis is much more solid than a Mustang chassis...so I would assume (again, just a guess) that my LS is much more comfortable when compared to a Mustang. Just know that since you moved to a 45 series tire, the ride will be more "harsh" than just lowering with the 60 series that comes on the 16" wheel.
kroebj - If you are only interested in lowing a little bit, then go with H&R or Eibach.
Ok, I am going to make a SUBJECTIVE comparison, but I think it will help.
Here is how I would rank ride quality with the different options for LS Suspension (10 being "perfect" and 1 being "unbearable")
10 = LS400 OEM (i.e. "perfect")
8-9? = Tein CS (Tein owners want to chime in?)
7-8 = Tanabe DF210 + KYB GR2 (current setup)
5? = JIC / Megan????? (based on posts I've read, again, owners please share)
Again, this is purely based on my subjective opinion so please don't turn this into anything it is not. I have read many reviews on the Tein CS ride quality and this is how I view the ranking in my head, however, if you have first hand knowledge of the other setups, please offer your perspective.
Also, where would you put an airbag setup like airrunner. In videos, they look a little bouncy. Comments?
