Exclamation Quick Question about Gen1.5 LS400

Two quick questions:

1)What's the fog light bulb size and is it yellow bulb or yellow reflector?

2)My power steering is weird at low speed (20-40) where left turns are kinda scary!! when I turn the wheel it will go smoothly and then let loose all of a sudden. My pump and rack are new (1 year old) and I just replaced the idle up valve (night and day difference in the steering feel at high speed). Can anyone help with this? i think my front shocks are shot and might contribute to this scary feel during a medium cornering, but the steering does feel very uneven.

thanks!

Foglight bulb is a H3C and the yellow is a small housing that the bulb itself sits in. As far as the steering are concerned, have your ball joints as well as your tie rod ends checked/replaced. I actually just ordered some Tie Rod ends myself(inner and outer). Since everything else is relatively new, you should have no more problem. Shocks will not cause the wheel to suddenly let loose, just handle real crappy over bumps. I am really suspecting ball joints here. Test your shocks, stand on each corner and bounce the car up and down 5-6 times to see if you can hear a thunk, and if the car bounces easily (should have to put some effort into it)if so, probably a good idea to change them.

Thanks. that's good advice...

Does 93 LS400 have upper ball joint or lower ball joint, or both?

Both there is a ball joint in each control arm. Luckily the lower ball joints can be ordered seperately.. for the upper one you need to order a new CA.
