well it's going to be yellow for sure, but yes it can be brighter. i have yellow fogs and i put in a super white bulb. i don't care about the white, i care about the wattage, which is higher than the stock 51w. so my fogs are brighter than the stock ones, but still as yellow

The stock bulb Lexus gives you is 51w just for longevity purposes. The 9006 standard is actually 55w. If you want to hack a 9005 bulb, it is 65w and does not have a capped tip. It is safe to run a 9005 in a 9006 socket plug and play and the brightness gain will be noticeable. They usually cost the same price too. Try Sylvania Silverstar 9005 or Philips VisionPlus 9005. I'm not familiar with the GS fog assembly so I don't know if it'd support an 85w bulb. That's a risk you're going to have to take .

If you want a different hue, you could try playing with the ion bulbs out there. they use a thin coat of ion film that creates a dynamic color hue with minimal brightness loss. I don't know how the yellow glass tube in teh foglights effects the ion bulbs though.

If you want to change the color, you're going to have to remove the yellow glass tube in your foglight assembly.

couple of members used 85w bulbs for their low beam and they melted the wiring, so i dont think it's a good idea

Oh that's strange 'cause I'm using 85w Narvas on my foglights right now. Been doing so for two-three months....
