Unhappy Stalling and vibration

Finally took my 95 ls 400 on its maiden long voyage since I took possesion of it a month ago. As expected, the car ran smoothly and beautifully as I along with 3 other passengers conversed in a quiet cabin without raising our voices.

What I did not expect was for the car to turn off/stall when I exited the highway and slowed to a stop at a traffic light. I had driven for 2 hours straight at about 120km/h(65mph).

The car did the same thing on my return trip as I slowed to access an on ramp to a bridge and it stalled again. In both cases the car started up again without any problems.

This situation is very unnerving as accidents can easily result. In addition, my car somtimes shakes and shudders between 40-60km/h when I release the gas pedal at those speeds. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on or what I should check for? Are these 2 problems in anyway related? I have owned an 94 es 300 for 5 years and never expereinced anything like this.
