2000 Ls400
I have a 2000 Plat. LS400, about 6 months ago it would not start. I had changed the battery and put in a Sears battery. I took it to the dealer in NY and they told me that battery was not good. The change this battery and put in a Lexus battery. Three weeks ago the car would not start again. Took it back to them and was told again the battery was not good. I ask why seen that they had just replaced it a few month ago, plus they wanted to charge me for another new one. I told them I will not pay for a new battery and they finally came around when a manager stepped into the conversation. Last week my wife parks the car and when I went out the car would not start again. I called the dealer and they are a lost for words. Do anyone have any suggestions? I am taking it back to them this week and I will be on top of my voice if someone don’t give me a good answer and correct my issue. Plus the amount of money I have paid for them to do guess work will have to be used to resolve my issue. So with all that said if you have any suggestions, please fell free to send them my way. Thanks

All batteries have some kind of warranty. And if three have consecutevly gone bad, its probably not the battery but the alternator.
Most warranties are for 3 years and if it was bad you should have taken it back to sears, I'm sure they would have given you a brand new one. Sears can test alternators as well. Even though its a Lexus, its still a car and works like every other car on the road, so you don't need to take it to the Lexus dealer everytime.
