Default Front Struts are going

Well, I bought my 1990 LS400 with bad front struts. I found two decently priced brands, Tokico and KYB. Not sure if anyone else has any recommendations for a good ride and good handling.

Another thing...what brake rotors are recommended, other than OEM ones.

might as well just replace all 4. many 1st gen guys have probs with the tokico and currently, trukn1 and I are running KYB and we both love the ride quality they give. as for brakes, u can find many, just personal preference.

KYBs.

Don't go cheap on rotors (unless they are an AMAZING price). What I've found from past experience with those cheapy rotors is that you can only machine them once if you're lucky (most times you cant due to the wear). That doesn't bode much for quality or heat dissipation.

brembo blank rotors are as good as or better than OEM and are a LOAD cheaper

tirerack.com carries them.

I did a little bit of comparison, and KYB is at the top for struts. Brembo seems a good deal at tirerack. Should I get the KYB strut mounts and boot kit too? Tirerack has those.
