Default WOT Shift Points

I have been taking the time to perform all of the service I can personally perform myself. Plugs, wires, PCV, oil, tranny, gear, etc. While doing so I've been playing around with the ETC/normal function on the transmission.

I've noticed the following:

1-2 shift @ WOT = 5,600 to 5,800 RPM
2-3 shift @ WOT = 6,000 RPM regardless of ETC/normal functionality

The tach shows 6,200 as the indicated redline, I'm assuming the rev limiter is 6,400 maybe 6,500 at the most.

Now, I'm use to my GM vehicles (LS1's/autos) they typically shift at the indicated redline in each of the gear changes.

The 1UZ really seams to come into its own around 5k and I'd love to have all the revs I can in first --- not that its a race car or anything, but hell why not?
