Hey i want to know what kind of paint if so how many coats and clear do the dealer's actually put into there paintjob...im considering a paintjob..wanted to be single tone not 2 tone...what ya think? this is my paintjob right now....original paint car was garaged..for 3 years at a time but reg maintenance done to it

It varies depending on the product they use. Usually its 1-2 light coats followed by 2-3 heavy coats of paint. Than 2-3 medium-heavy coats of clear. Make sure they are doing base and clear and not one of those aclyric paints that are base/clear mixed.

yea...it still 2 tone...i want it all black...and ij ust waxed the car when i took the picture but yea the black paint still ok except for the right side there is a lil spot...that is bothering me starting to fade...about 3 inches noting noticable from far but still u know..and the bumper needs some paint...u know wear and tear but yea nothing beats old lexus stock paintjob! cant believe it lasted this long
