you just gotta know how to drive it (i LOVED my '95)
oh, fresh tires (more tread=less dry grip) and inflating them to ~35-38psi helps make it easier to break the rear end loose but you still wont be getting wheelspin froma standing start unless ur A-in the wet B-asphalted parking lot or C-Brake Torque then LAUNCH (dont do this without a secondary (BIG) trans cooler)

My '92 LS400 will lay a decent patch if the conditions are right. It won't break them loose in a straight line, but if I'm going through a turn or the pavement is wet it will burn for days. Maybe it helps that I have 205/60 15's on stock rims wrapped in some 560 treadwear tires.
