Angry Gauge cluster turning itself off???

Hello. I just bought a 93 LS400 and love the car. I was driving today on the freeway and a weird thing happened. My whole gauge cluster went off for a split second and then came back on. This happened 3-4 times. Also, later on when I was driving, I noticed that sometimes when I step on the brakes, the lights would dim, and they would also dim along with the turn signal as I was standing at a red light. I'm going to have my battery fully tested. Do any of you guys experience similar problems or know what could be the cause of this?
Thank you.

Anton

Sounds like your battery is weak, and your charging system is probable giving up the holy spirit. Have your alternator checked for continuity and your PS pump checked for any leaks, that will cause your alternator to croak from the fluid destroying the windings inside the alternator.,

Hello ~
I had a similar problem , however my problem was a loose connection to the battery port all i did was tighten both the negative and positive ports ( any bit loose could casue this so check both and make sure they are tight)
ENJOY your new baby !
