can someone please tell me whether this will work for me.
i only got one key when i got my car and it is falling apart.
i want the new key to have the side remote button.
if i get this set from lexus-parts .com which comes with 2 new cut keys and the chip, all i have to do is put the new chip in and everything should be fine right. no programming whatsoever needed on the 92 ls400, right?it should be plug'n'play since the keys are cut through the vin, they should work fine, right?
Also, does anyone know whether there is another place to get this for cheaper.
i am being quoted $312 for the 2 keys cut and the chip from lexus-parts.com

I'd be interested in finding out the best place to get these keys, too.

When I had my GS4, I got a key on eBay that was cut for me along with programming directions for about $45 (if I remember correctly).

I tried looking for a 94 LS key on eBay, but came up short.
