When I bought my LS 400 ('90) it was near perfect except that the keyless was not working. Well I went and replace the key battery and still nothing. I tried to use the program mode on the car through directions I found online, still nothing. So I ask how can I fix this problem?

A number of issues can cause the keyless locking to not work but here is a thread on another forum that tells how the current owner of my 1990 LS400 (ylekiot1) fixed it by reseating the ROM card after he bought the car from me: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...topic=2188&hl=

The keyless system on my 90 LS would sometimes not work due to interference from various sources including business security systems. I never could get it to work in some shopping center parking lots.
