Default How to remove 92 dash?

I'm looking to replace the stereo in my 92 LS400, but I'm trying to figure out the proper way of getting to it. Anyone take one of these things apart before? I found an instructional page somewhere, but it didn't tell me how to get that first piece of trim around the shifter section off.

Thanks

1st pull off the wood trim around the shifter its held by two clips underneath
2nd pull out the ash tray then look deep in the console and there should be 2 screws to unscrew right and left side
3rd use a screwdriver and pop lose the ac vent console on the very top and then there are two more screws like the ones that were unscrewed before on the bottom.
4th once all 4 screws all off the radio console should be able to come off.
5th separate the ac console from the radio, they all held to together by screws on the side of the radio, you should be able to see them once the console is pulled out

Thanks edogg, that wood trim is the tricky part. I'll have to take a look tomorrow for those 2 clips.

well its not really that hard all you have to do is grab it from the ledge where the black plastic part and the wood meet and pull upwards, pull on the bottom side of of the fours sides.try to use force, but carefully, then the 2 clip underneath the wood trim should pop out of their socket.
