Talking 1996 Ls400 20" offset?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the original offset for a 1996 ls is. Cause i have 20" rims with a +45 offset but do not know what size tire to put, would 225 35 20 work or could i go with 245 35 20? any help would be greatly appreciated.

test fit ur 20's to make sure they clear the brake calipers. generic wheels will most likely NOT fit.

Pure is right. I went through a dozen rims before finding the right one for the front caliper. As for tire size I have 245's up front with 285's in the back - minor fender mods to make them rub-free - check for caliper fitment bro and post a pic of your wheel(s).

Thanks for ur input guys, i went to a rim shop yesterday and they told me 245 35 20 would work in the front, the rims i have are lexani marqis with a +45 offset, i have already test fit them and they fit just fine no caliper problems they were just so close to the suspensin that i did not want to get the wrong tire size, as soon as i put them on i will post pics
