'93 "missing" after replace fan pulley bracket
Hey all,
I really hope you can help and I think I need some real experts here, which some of you definitely seem to be.
I recently replaced the fan pulley bracket assembly, due to a bad bearing, and everything in that regard seemed to go ok. However, I now have what feels like a missing cylinder problem (hesitation, stuttering, etc.) that developed after I put everything back.
I am no expert, but can swap parts out with the best, and wonder if one of the various connectors or wires that run in that area (around and across the timing belt covers, etc.) may be messed up due to my work. Does anyone have any ideas or specific knowledge as to what the four or five wires that run through that area do? There are no obvious breaks or problems, that I can see.
If not, how do I go about testing this problem? I realize it may be unrelated to the work I did, but I probably am not that lucky. By the way, the check engine light is on...
Help guys, it is my mother-in-law's vehicle....
Thanks, Jeff
