Default Strut Rod Bushings

I need bushings for the strut rods in the front. Does anyone know where I can find some that wont cost me the price of a front end alignment. LOL

its not on the diagram. it connects to number 10 in the front of the car. If you look under your car in the front you will see. Number 10 bots to it as a matter of fact.

Amazingly expensive part to replace but unfortunately the dealer is the best place to get this part. Daizen does make many bushings but none for the strut rod, as I remember.

Default what is #3 in the diagram?

My 3 bushings on the #3 in the diagram are bad. What is this part called? Can you purchase just the 3 bushings? Is this as easy to remove as it looks or is something going to fly out and go through the roof of my garage?? ThanksNel

Default Upper Control Arm

# 3 is the Upper Control Arm. # 10 is the Strut Rod for pre 1995 ls400 95 -97 are different and u must buy whole unit $120(bushing can not be replaced). Sometimes very difficult to get old ones off . they get frozen in place . Will improve ride greatly along with ball joints and upper control arms.

At $55 each, I think the bushings alone would cost you close to that and you have to press the old ones out and the new ones in which is a PITA without a press. This way you got a new strut rod with OEM bushings ready to slap on.

I've heard a lot of complaints of a stiffer ride and squeeking from a lot of the poly bushings. Do a search and take it from there.

What lexus dealer are you guys seeing the strut rod bushing for $55. I searched hi and low and the cheapest was about $120 each.

I still havent changed mine and now they are worse, it is a safety concern now as the car sways around when I press my brakes.

thats the same problem that I am having. Like when its raining and wet the car tends to get spagetti like at the steering wheel. So is the bushing $55 or $120. And is it just the bushing or the whole rod and the bushing together guys. Need answers asap.
