Default VSC Off

I have a 1999 LS 400, with about 112,000 on the clock. Maintained well and I love the thing still drives and rides like new. Last night when I started her up I got a VSC problem indicator in the Multi-function display. The battery has not been disconnected and pushing the VSC On/Off button has not effect. anyone got any ideas before I head to the dealer with it, 100 miles away?

Well, that light can be trip'd easily by any number of sensors. It could be as simple as brake reservoir connector that’s been disconnected, to speed sensors. Lots of systems can cause teh VSC light to come on. You can try and reset the light by unplugging the battery. What is the most recent service you've had done?

Well I plugged in a OBD ll reader and got two codes, P1120 and P1121 I cleared the codes and the light went off and have no further issues for the moment, fingers crossed. the two codes were for Throttle Pedel Position Sensor and Circuits
