Allow me to introduce myself....
Just got a 1997 LS400 less than a week ago. She just clocked 66K miles yesterday and I am literally in love. I am taking the long route home just to spend some more time with her
. She is in pristine condition and no doubt the previous owner took good care of her. Upgraded from a '93 Camry (273,000miles and still going) which sold me to the Toyota fam for life. Hopefully the LS will give me a lot more. I will keep y'all updated on our bonding and will post some pics sometime.
Q:
The tilt function of the steering column seems to have an issue. Sometimes when I try to tilt, I hear a little clicking sound like the it is about to start moving but it doesn't. It is an on and off thing (sometimes it works an sometimes it doesn't) and I am not sure where to start on it....any ideas??? This is the only issue I have picked out so far.

congrats on the purchase and welcome to CL.
for the tilt motor, do a search for Power Tilt Stripped in both the LS and the SC forums. there is a rather simple diy on fixing it. the fact that it is indeed clicking is a good sign, showing that your motor hasnt burned itself out.
