Here are a couple of photos, have a faulty hood latch, gas gauge reads empty when cold, have only had it for 3 days, learning the ropes through your website. I see a lot of good information here. Some dents and dings, a little bit of rust. Drivers door handle broken (can still open it from the corner).
Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome to CL. Not too bad for $750. Even with the problems it has it's well worth what ya paid. Do you plan on fixing it up and doing the body work or is it just a daily/winter beater? If you do fix the rust, do it right or it will just come right back, and worse. The first thing I would suggest is to fix the hood latch. That bungi cord aint gonna last and I wouldn't want to be behind you when the hood flies open, snaps and goes flying.

Well, I am afraid to say, it will be a daily driver/winter beater so to speak. My wife just took it on it's first trip (>70 miles) , had a blow out, did I mention I didn't check the spare, this is what she saw when she went to pull out the spare. \ 0 0 /
35.00 dollars later had a new/used tire and she was on her way. Crazy thing about the hood latch, I did spray some WD40 in it, now it will latch sometimes and then again not. Is this hooked into the electrical system at all?

the hood latch is cable actuated as mentioned but does have to be lined up properly...
