STI Karlyn Leads
Just fitted new STI leads with laser Platinum plugs , caps and rotors .
It turns out that at 152,000 K's my plugs are the original units , a gap of 1.194 mm !!
No electrode left at all , it's wonder it was running at all !!
Must have a great ignition system to push a spark out of those plugs .
I can report that the STI leads are awesome , fitted straight on , no probs , at least as good as the originals and at $85 US cheap as chips !!
I now expect the milage to go back up to 550 K's a tank again .
