Default '92 Door handle and master window switch questions

My driver's side exterior door handle is broken. Actually, it still works but rubs at the top. It appears that one of the brackets that holds the hinge rod for the handle has broken off of the "cup". I understand the door handles are trouble spots on the 1st gen LS400s. The main body appears to be plastic (not sure). Is there a glue that would work on this? Is this same handle assembly used on any Toyotas?
My master window switch is acting up also. The driver's window works fine but the other windows are troublesome. I tried cleaning the contacts and this made it better but I can't get the passenger's side window to go back up from the master switch (tried cleaning the contacts several times). Is this switch the same as some Toyotas?
Thanks in advance for any help.
