Word. Too bad our headlights are not clear, otherwise I would figure out a way to do it.

Guys I've been a living dead zombie thanks to my current job (no literally) so my retrofitting days have been cut short however I'd like to say that this is a project I'd like to dive in as well in the very near future being that we now know they make aftermarket Lexus headlamps! (Yey finally) So please oh please keep us all posted and thanks for the personal heads up. I will follow this thread as one of my favorites

talking about these i take it

if these fit w/o major mods and/or if the conversion complete with the non-hid projectors can be done under $800 i think it would be kick ***!!!

would you really want to change it? i dunno i think it might look alittle weird.. maybe ill make some drawings (you could always replace the glass with some molded plastic and it would be clear... )

Yes I am using the Jetta's, but some trimming of grill will be needed and a small piece needs to fill lower curved part of light and also my custom eyebrow will be added.
...also there are other versions of the aftermarket Jetta Lamp

and if somebody wants to come over to my garage that has a 1 gen LS we can remove the headlight and see if it will work ?

I have looked into the custom clear lense and got no were, also the inside of stock would have to be completely reworked and then you will need a projector...The jetta is the best answer , believe me I have been measuring lamps for over two years.
