Default my 92 ls400... socal...**pic of new wheels on*

hey i just wanted to show you guys what i did to my ls400 within the last 2 weeks after i recieved it.

stock... with my civic just sitting there for weeks...

lowered...

thats right! lowered on some tanabe sustec pro s-oc. custom done by me...

threw some wheels on.

thats right 19 inch volk racing g-games sf challenge....

new wheels tell me what you think. 19/8.5 front and 19/9.5 rear

this is what i'm giving up for the lexus... people in the 909-626-714 area code in socal might have seen this car around...

i'm gonna miss that car... loved it on the freeway... beat on most evos, sti's srt4's, and so on(not bad for a 210 whp car, non v-tec)... but maybe i'll boost this lexus if i take the turbo kit off the civic...

o well, i have other staggered wheels waiting to be thrown on but have no tires yet...

First time we've seen an LS with a sport wheel design. Nice custom work with the S-0C's -- which set did you adapt for use on your car?

the set i used came off an 03 is300(cousin's). but over all the front shocks might be a problem. because they are almost at their maximum height, and is still pretty low when the car is on the floor...

Yes, that suspension is quite a bit shorter than the factory LS suspension. The positive of that height setting is that you are still getting a full stroke, the negative being that it might be so much stroke that you can potentially bottom out the chassis if not careful.

You may want to increase the front spring rate, as that kit came with 10kg front, 8kg rear. You should have a heavier spring up front.

save money? not many companies make full bodied coil-overs for the ucf10... and the one that do... are $$$$... so yea... you see where i got my motivation from... also... i think if i took the shock back out and put a 1 inch spacer in the spring area that might solve the problem... maybe this weeked i'll do it... and see if it helps, if not i'll try the hevier spring rates.... but i'll keep you guys updated.

Sounds good, please let us know if you will need a custom spring rate, as we have many diameters, length options. The LS is front heavy, and that suspension will be able to take an additional 2kg increase in spring rate without becoming underdampened.

your name implies VIP, but I only see an LS done "TUNER style".
