Just picked up a 93' LS400 DD'er
Picked up a creampuff from an original owner .... 93' with 115K and it is spotless. It has been dealer serviced and the only thing that has gone out on it for him is the power steering, which was replaced. Timing belt was done at 60K so don't know when I should be doing it again. All the other maintenance stuff has been done over the years. I've been modding the crap out of my GS ..... now I feel like a newbie with the LS cause I have no clue about this car
Here's some pics....

The previous owner did it early at 60k plus it's a non-interference engine.
I wonder if the previous owner sold the car because Lexus told them they were due for another belt and didn't feel like spending the money.

I keep telling myself "NO MODS" but we all know how that goes.

I read the DIY writeup on lexls.com and it looks like a lot of work and a dirty job to open the motor and replace the mast.....Wouldn't it be easier to buy a whole replacement for $25-30 and put it in????

Congrats on the purchase! Don't worry, keep reading this forum and you'll find plenty of ways to start modding. I've just started modding my LS. I've done my audio setup, which took forever as I slowly pieced it together, and now I'm starting suspension and other mods. Just installed Tokico's, and now working on Daizen bushings all around
Ooh, thats a good deal. My current antenna is broken, but what bugs me more, is that the antenna tries to go up anytime my HU is on! (Installed a Pioneer HU).. it seems like this will fix that problem.

Installing an aftermarket antenna are a little more involved according to the following site.
