Because your windows have a green tint to begin with. Mine came with a bronze tinted glass. Its either green or bronze depending on exterior paint color. Thats your problem. Maybe if you darken it, less green will show, however, there is no way around it.

well if you have the cashflow, you can just buy some aftermarket windows from some glass company with no tint, then tint it. i mean. if you got it like that.

I never knew about this. Do you know what mine would be? I have a 99 Imperial Jade Metallic. I have 5% film that came with the car and I can't see any tint.

I have a 92 and mine came with a bronze tint. The only way I can really see it is to clean the window, park car in the sun, and look at window from an angle, either outside or inside, you should see a color other than just clear glass. front windows are great for this, rear windows are better in the sun, but if you already have tint on the glass park in the sun and look at the glass from the outside at an angle, you should notice a slight color difference. Front window, in your case, might be your best bet.
Although my interior is tan and the rest of my windows are tinted, yuou should be able to see slight gold/yellow color in my front windshield. I never had this done.
