I just bought a LS400 few months back real nice and clean, one problem the air stinks!!! if the heater turns on or the ac it stinks like old people !!! here is the situation , i went to the mechanic, bought some cabin filters on line turns out 1992 does not have a cabin filter? please help me what to do, it smells really bad, I tried this spray from autozone it worked for a bit but the stink comes back, what should I DO?

there are these airfresheners that you can get at AutoZone that clip onto your vents.
i have them, and whenever i turn on the air, the scent is nice and fruity. (yes, im a fruity guy)

they're only like 3 bucks, so nothing major.
if that dosnt work, you can buy a grip load of them and stick 5 on each vent.

do this.
-drive around for 5mins to let motor heat up.
-roll down ALL windows and blast heat on its highest setting while driving around for a good 15-20mins
-come home and turn motor off
-let cool COMPLETELY (ie-overnight)
-start in morning to a very clean smelling car.
