what about the '98-'00 LS400s. Any cheap bars I can use, or am I going to have pony up and buy the Tom's bar from Steve and Luis over at L-tuned. At least if I buy that bar its gonna be high quality.

do what i did, take the otto racing STRAIGHT bar from LuxuryMods.com, add some spacers underneath, (i used washers), and there you go.
*note-you WILL have to remove the engine cover and im not 100% on this. my '95 has the same chassis but your car has a different intake configuration. unless lexus moved the engine up at least 1/4" then ur fine.
Didn’t want too start a new thread, so I’ll just ask in here.
I’m looking at ordering the strut brace and sway bar from LuxuryMods.com, does anyone know if you can get the rear brace? And front sway bar? (1991 LS)
I'm looking at getting this Strut Bar too. How does it improve handling? Is it really a noticeable difference? Also how are you getting it for 50? LM has it listed for $75...
I was actually able to get it for $50 a week ago plus $15 for shipping...I mentioned something about the special pricing from CL or from another Lexus website and Luxurymods still hooked it up...

Be sure to post a quick review when you get it installed! Thinking about buying the same strut bar.
Well I finally got my bar. I was surprised to see that it isn't a one piece bar. The bar comes in 3 pieces: a solid bar, and then two mounting brackets that connect the solid bar to the car. I haven't installed it yet, but it seems like this design sucks becuase you'll realy have to tighten those bolts to get a solid setup. I've never bought a strut bar before, but it seems like a one piece bar would provide much more stiffness.

You mush know the proper way to install a multi piece bar because it needs pressure on it for it to work properly.
A one piece is stronger but you have to drop your front strut to where the stud are almost flush with you tower ( meaning where they come through the body of the car ) to get the bar on, and this becomes a pain when you need to work on the engine, especially on a 2nd LS and up because of the engine covers.
