Default 1990 Celsior high rider?

Hi foilks -- thinking of importing this car from Japan, but what is with this suspension? Is it air on "high" mode or what? This is SUV territory! Also would you import a Celsior sight unseen? Has 125k km's for CAD$3600...

Thanks -- are these after-market height controllers fairly reliable? If not, are they easy enough to fix if they go bad?

It's not the controller you should worry about in terms of reliability, it's the air suspension you'll need to worry about. At 125K, you might have around 60-75K or so more km's to go if it still has the original air suspension.

What's really the appeal of that car? The fact that it's right-hand drive? If it was in reeeally good condition or something I could see why you would want to go through the hassle of importing it...

But that thing looks kinda beat - and with potential issues of that suspension I'd steer clear of it.

The peddle is covered by the mat. But you can find ones in VERY clean shape from the world of JDM.

I notice that it has the " Brown " interior , the brown is extremly YUCK !!
Whats worse than brown leather ?....Not much !!
For some reason at one stage it was all the rage in Japan ??
So don't get one with the brown , you will regret it , tan is OK [ I have a tan one myself ] , but the grey interior is the best .

I noticed his dash is warped above the vents like mine. Do any of you know how to fix that or if will need a new dash altogether? I also like the lip on it. Anything to make the US LS stand out.
