Default I need brake pads...

I'm debating between sticking with OEM Toyota, or getting Hawk pads from Tire Rack, Axxis Metal Masters, or Akebono ProACT pads. I'm also getting new rotors, will be US-made Raybestos PG Plus ones, unless I can find a good price on OEM. I like the quiet of OEM pads, but I need something better in stopping.

I got the Axxis metal masters off ebay and paid $80 for front and back. I noticed better stopping power/shorter and no squeeks!

Highly endorsed!!!

Hey Aust,
I am looking for those same brakes for my 98' LS, do you have a seller on Ebay you would recommend.

Thanks buddy,

Hi, I'll second the endorsement on the Axxis Metal Masters, I put them on my 94 LS and agree they have very good stopping power, no squealing, and not brake dust.

I just got PBR Deluxe Plus pads, and ordered Bradi rotors from R1 Concepts.

I'm going to need to change my brake pads soon too. And the only thing stopping me from going aftermarket is squeeling.

I don't want to hear my brakes when the brakes are cold.

And I DO want to hear my brakes squeel when they are wearing out. I heard that most aftermarket preformace pads, ie. Hawk. Don't have wear sensors.
