24 us is about right....that what i used to pay at rallye lexus and i used to get a car wash with it!!! 75 is daylight robbery....hey man on the other hand it so easy to change the oil yourself, why dont you save yourself some money!!!
I alternate between Ft. Lauderdale FL and Arlington VA and have seen the same disparity in oil change charges. Down in Florida, it's Toyota-like charges for an oil change and up North its maybe $65 or so (I've never paid it). I've used the local Toyota dealer for their Express-Lube oil changes, but they have now been trying to discourage Lexus'.
Big difference in 15K, 45K-mi, ... service too. Down in Florida, if you insist on only Lexus-recommended service, it's $99. Up North, it's maybe $200-$300. ($400+ if you let them do their own thing).
Man, you guys have it good in FL. The Lexus pricing is pretty competitive.
At my lexus dealer it's something like US $59... but they give you a Lexus loaner car, wash your car, do a general inspection of your car, top off fluids, check tire pressure, etc. Plus they use an OEM filter, though I'm not sure what kind of oil they use; not synthetic, though... I do know that.
How long does it take them to change your oil? You get a loaner car?
I dunno... I typically change my own oil, I just know I got a couple of free oil changes in the beginning and I didn't even have to wait for a minute. I came in on my way to work, they handed me the keys, had me sign a form, and asked me to bring the loaner back on my way back home from work.
