Default HID blue lights

1994 LS 400
Alright so I bought these xenon HID blue lights for the headlights. I found the tutorial for replacing the bulbs so that shouldnt be a problem. I started thinking and im wondering if these will even work with my headlights
I thought I would just replace the stock light bulbs with these but now im thinking it's probably not that easy lol.
??????

---------EDIT

Here's the URL of the ones I bought

he makes a point, those are just regular xenon halogen bulbs. the only difference is that these are coated in blue, which means that youl get the bluish tinge but ul lose a LOT of actual light output as wel..

Read all about HID's here: http://www.intellexual.net/ it's more about the bulbs themselves and the type of light they project, nothing really on the differences between reflector and projector style HIDs, ballasts, and starter info can be found about them here: http://faqlight.carpassion.info/

Nope, those are 9006 bulbs that go in the Gen 2 LS.
The blue tinted glass is so dark, it is actually going to cut out a lot of light. That "may be" compensated by making the bulb 100W, which is going to fry your wiring/fuses. The look will be terrible from these poor quality halogens.
Furthermore the link is a joke. It mentions high beams, but high beams (like 9005) do not have the silver/black coating in thr front like these bulbs do. These are low beams all right, a la 9006.
P.S. It does say 100 Watts. Stay away from these.

Alright so does anyone know where I can order new light bulbs that will work with my car?
I did the DIY remove the yellow fog glass
http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/lighting/fogs.html

It looks way better lol, and now I can always leave those lights on.

There's no point in trying to install them because they won't fit.

I have the Nokya H4 "artic White" lights and I like them alot, they are much brighter and have a slight blue tint

btw headlights arent that hard to remove, just remember that the headlight itself does not come out of the harness, you have to remove them both at once

i agree with ychachad. i have a 98 Ls and i alwayz look at the total wattage. remember p (power) = i (current) * v (voltage). since your voltage is fixed approximately at 12.5 volts (car off) or 14.4 volts (car on and running) and your factory bulbs power output is approximately 50 watts per bulb (at least this is what my 9005 factory bulb has written on it) you can use algebra (i = p/v) to find the current which ranges from 4 amps @ 12.5 volts - 3.47 amps @ 14.4 volts. now when you use those higher wattage bulbs like the one you have (100 watts) you have a range of 8 amps @ 12 volts - 6.94 amps @ 14.4 volts. so this bulb will try to pull twice the amount of current through your wires than they are rated to handle. this will result in either a blown fuse or melted wires and possibly a fire if you are not careful. so try and stick with bulbs that have the same power output as your factory bulbs. i personally use piaa but that is just my preference. good luck.
