LS Grill option
Alright so Im sure everyone know's the DIY chrome grill for the GS.<how its chrome under the paint
I have a 94 LS400 and wondering if under the black paint is it chrome? I havn't seemed to get an answer out of anyone anywhere else. Thanks

It's not chrome underneath on the 94 LS. I don't even think my 01 is chrome underneath. My 97 LX450 was chrome underneath and it made a huge difference. I love it. But unfortunately we can't do it for our LSs. Hope this helped

you are better of painting it with some sore of acrylic paint or replacing it with a billet grill.. or you can spend a lot of money and go the JDM route. ie Junction Produce, Wald, etc

what would you paint it with? color?
btw do you have chrome handles? I just got mine and I think they would also look great on your car

I'll tell you what I did find out today...the black a-pillars (between the front and back door windows) is chrome underneath...well, at least on my 91 LS. Just sit there and peel at the black and it's literally a black sticker and there's shiny chrome underneath.
