Default Help with wheels LS400 (1992)

Hello All,
I live in the UK and new to this club. I was wondering if anyone can help with my question about wheels/tyres.
I have just purchased my LS400 and am very please with the car, the only thing that lets it down is the wheels/tyres. (Car still fitted with original 15inch wheels (205x65x15s). They are in poor condition and look terrible. I have been offered some OZ one piece alloy wheels with new tyres
They are five stud and are of Lexus fitment, they are 18inch with 7.5J rim and 50mm offset and fitted with 225X40X18 Dunlop sp tyres... With they be ok and if so will the ride be very harsh.
These wheels are at the other end of england so I cannot try them first but the price is good so may be worth a gamble if will fit.
Thanks Duncan

Default Welcome to the forum Duncan..

As long as the bolt/lug pattern is 5x114.3, you're set. If you're still on stock suspension the ride won't be very harsh at all...it'll be slightly harsher, but not enough to where you'll want to go back to the stock 15's.
