My utility trailer has a greater volume capacity than any pickup truck I've ever seen. My trailer cost less than $400 when new. It is now 32 years old and still in good condition. Where I live, it is except from taxes and license fees. The cost of running it has been only inexpensive tires - compare that to the cost of running pickup trucks for 32 years. I've been laughing all the way to the bank for a long, long time!

By the way, a cord of firewood - the only way I have ever bought it - weighs over 4,000 pounds. That is over twice the weight that most full size pickup trucks can carry.

Sent from my iPhone using IB AutoGroup
a 1/2 ton pickup can carry a half ton in the bed, hence the name. - that's 1000 pounds - whereas an LS400 can pull a utility trailer weighing a total of 3500 lbs.
