I just completly disassembled the rear end of my car to replace the 6x9's that are supposed to be in the rear deck next to the sub (i thought?) only to find out that there is nothing there, and in the spot that it looks like they would/should be...doest even look like there is room for them and definatly no wiring, managed to find my nakamichi amp which is in a totally different place than any picture / tutorial for my model/year though...


what do i do now?

i guess i should have looked into it more, alot of people told me they were there but apparently they arent and arent supposed to be, maybe ill get a custom install...

Exactly who/where did you hear this from? You didn't notice that there weren't any speaker covers near the sub?

I know my car is not the same as yours but on mine next to the sub it looks like there is (2) 6x9. But its the air filterization system that goes thru those screens.

I thought the same thing when I 1st bought the car........

talked to multiple car audio salesdudes...and yea thats where i thought they went...

yea, the LS never had 6x9s.. you can put 51/4 in the front and in the rear with some modifying.., but I'm sure theres a way to build a mount for 6x9s.. i know it can be done
