Bought new wheels and stereo for the ride...
Picked up a set of 18" LS430 wheels with 245/40/18 Michelin Pilot PS2 (?)...cost was about $2,200 + CA tax. I could have picked up a set of 19s for the about the same price, but after driving sports cars/trucks for the past 10 years, I thought my back would appreciate a factory-type ride.
I also picked up a stereo system to replace the stock system...nothing too fancy...
Alpine Ai-Net Touch Screen Head Unit (9855)
Alpine Sirius Radio Controller and Antenna
Alpine Components on front doors
Alpine 2-Two Ways on the rear doors
Alpine 10" Subwoofer (replaces stock sub)
Alpine 5-Channel Theatre amplifier
Alpine 6-Disk Ai-Net Changer (MP3/CD/CD-R..the works).
About $2,000 installed.
A little bit of dough for a '92 LS400, but considering the car only has 48K or so original miles and will probably last me another 10 years considering my 10 mile commute to the office, I think it's money well spent.
Oh yes, I also gave it a light tint all around.

Well, the stereo goes in tomorrow morning and wheels won't go on until next Saturday. The wheel shop is about 30 miles from me but in LA traffic, that's almost 1.5 hours one-way for me.
Pics will come once the conversion is complete- window tint, stereo, wheels, new gold emblems, new gold license plate frames, and chrome grille.

EDIT: I cancelled the 18"LS430 wheel/tire combo. Instead I'm going with 17" IS300 wheels with 225/50/17 tires. After recalling the ride in my buddy's LS with 19s and a 245/40/19 tire, I figured I'd get the same ride with 245/40/18 or 245/40/19, so I cancelled.
245/45/18 tires would put me at 4.7% over the stock tire...1.8% over the recommended max.
