just bought a 93 sc4 with the nakamichi stereo and was wondering what you think should be modified. I wanted something with more bass and was thinking of a 10 inch woofer, but can i add a sub without changing my head unit, etc? this may sound stupid but im kinda new to car audio. Thanks

 

I recently asked the same question as you and got some very good answers. I am in the process of changing everything except my head unit. I went and got myself some very good JL audio. I decided on the 300/4 amp, 101B4 10 inch sub, and 4 6" speakers. This was all suggested by pcmw and i am greatfully thankful. the sub should be in stock by tomorrow and install done by thursday. as long as you pick the right components, you can manage to change everything except the head unit. Of course, in the near future I'm planning on getting rid of my head and 12 disk cd changer for a new head with 6 cd in dash. (eclipse sounds good). good luck on your audio voyage.
