Default LTB 93 LS400 opinions needed.

I have a 93 ls400 i am looking at. It is at 130,000 miles. Interior is great. engine bay clean. Some power steering whine was noted. Has full records and included a tbelt, instruments mother board replace, and ball joints $2500 of work done at 121.000 plus it does have the records from 45,000 on. some small scuff marks on the front bumber but over all the bady is amazing. the LED on the air/heat is somewhat fuzzed out. SO it looks like some of the aged Lexus norms but with the recent work the only think I am seeing is this..

possible streering pump replace.
buff or repaint front bumper.

He was at 7K I offered 5.5K (he called back so....)

Any thoughts are welcomed.

Dale.

If you've had a good look at it, and like the car, then for $5.5K, I'd jump on the deal. Cheers.

Look at some of my recent posts for details, but save another $1-2K to get the car into shape performing regular maintenance.

Nice find. Fixing that steering pump would be a good idea. Just keep an eye on the usual stuff that starts messing up with that many miles (guage cluster lights, AC unit LCD, motor mounts, etc.). Motor should run forever though if taken care of.

Default Power Steering Whine

I have a 1997 Lexus ES300 and it was whining when I would turn the wheel at low speeds, for example pulling out of the driveway. I found that the whine was coming from by the firewall. I then sprayed WD-40 where the steering column went into the firewall (between the gas and brake pedal). This completely took care of the whine and haven't heard it since.
