Default Please Help: need definitive answer to replacing ball joints

My 1995 LS400 needs ALL new ball joints, and rear track rod bushings (not sure if that's the correct terminology for that piece? it's the rod that connects to the rear lower knuckle) After a couple of hours searching here, I understand that the front lower ball joints can be replaced, as for the others, I read that it's required to purchase the entire control arm if an upper ball joint needs replacement, and the same with the rear track rod bushing.... still, some other sources say that it is possible to replace the upper ball joints and the track rod bushing separately.... can someone give me a definitive answer and possibly supply part numbers? The car needs an alignment, and it makes no sense to do an alignment with bad ball joints. I'd like to restore the ride quality for this car.

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken you have to replace the the entire control arm on 95 + if the upper ball joints are no good.

That's what everyone seems to confirm, if I purchase the part directly from Lexus. I've also heard people replacing them with an aftermarket unit independent of the control arm....... I've emailed a couple of online sources so far, and they've recommended that I visit the Lexus parts department....
