Ignition Coil Body Sparking, Car wont run.
Okay this thing just gives me electrical issues front right and center in my whole 4 months of owning it I am yet to have it run for more than 3 days before something electrical goes wrong AGAIN. This time, my ignition coil I replaced less than a month ago started shooting sparks out of the body of it, here’s a link to a video of it
(Sorry it’s bad I didn’t have another person to record it) What could have caused this is such a small amount of time, is it a faulty ignition coil, or something in the wiring or what? The car WILL NOT run, it will for a little bit longer if I hit the gas but it will not stay running. Is there something wrong I did on my end while installing it that would cause this? I got spark plugs roughly 4 months ago and new spark plug wires not even a month ago. It was running pretty well for a few days apart from a weird noise that I heard (I’m now guessing it was thing), under heavy load it sounded like a ticking but not an engine tick.

Electricity takes the path or least resistance to ground. Are you sure the coil wire is fully seated in the coil?
Even if new, the coil wire may be bad; check the resistance end to end to see if it's within specs.
What brand wires and coil were installed?

I am also thinking your connector is not seated properly or there is a problem with the contacts of the coil. Double check the connector
It would probably be worth checking the ignition parts. Spark plug wire resistances, distributor cap and rotor issues, etc.

Once the high voltage tracking is occurred, it's not easy to fix it. The path is heated and carbonized. You probably need to replace the ignition coil.
