Default Sand Rotors?

Hey guys,

One quick question. How often are you "supposed to" sand your rotors?

Who told you to sand the rotors at all? I am not familiar with any process that sands the rotors and/or the pads once they have been in service.

He means to have the rotors cut/turned machine wise not manually sanded down by hand.

The only time to have the rotors cut/turned is if your getting a vibration/shake in the steering wheel when braking. Obviously you can only have that done if enough metal is left on the rotors. A qualified mechanic can look at your rotors and let you know it's feasible to salvage your old rotors or just purchase new ones. Once that's done purchase new OEM pads.

My speedo is incorrect, not as bad as hisbut is still very incorrect. I do have 20" rims if this makes any difference......I don't know. Is the speedometer able to be adjusted at all or something? Any help would also be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

I have also noticed some heat cracks in alsorilled hole in one of my front rotors. I also kind of feel a little bit of a rough/slight grinding when coming to a easy halt sometimes when stopping.
---->I hear that when you have heat crack its can eat away at the brake pad. Do you think this is happening to me? Should I replace?
