I'm in the market for rotors myself.....I have an is350. Would love some input. I'm looking at the centric rotors. High carbon maybe? Not sure what the benefits are?

This all depends on what your want from your rotors. Do you want them for looks? Then buy slotted / drilled rotors. They eat up pad life 25% quicker than blanks though. Drilled rotors are also prone to cracking, but if your not tracking the car, you should not have any problems. I personally have stoptech drilled and slotted rotors. I wanted the rotors for looks and dont mind the decreased pad life. Stoptech is a very popular brand so I opted to get those instead of cheaper rotors.

If you dont care for looks, just buy OEM blank rotors.

If you have to ask, OEM or Centric blanks are for you.

Do you ever plan on getting the rotors turned to get more use out of them? If so then drilled and/or slotted is not something you will want to do because most places will not cut a drilled/slotted rotor.

+1 for OEM rotors.

chances are high and likely that anything else would end up w/ marginal returns. spend the money you save elsewhere.

If you want dustless pads just get OEM low dust ones. Theyre cheaper
