Another strut bar question

I asked a variety of eBay vendors if they had the TT Supra bar with bend...those I contacted were straight. You can bend it and it wasn't that difficult once you find a stable mount to hold the bar. If this last attempt at bending was not successfiul, I was going to give Speedy Performance Parts a call and order a brand called "Toucan". From their picture it is a bent bar. Price is $36.01 with $5.95 shipping.

(They have multiple business names on the net, this was just the division I called. No shopping experience with them though.)
If you can apply enough bend, I'm thinking you won't need any spacers.

You could try removing those pieces. However, I'd give it a shot at bending...it doesn't take much and this way you preserve the function of the dust cover.
This was my write-up on how I bent the strut tower brace:

My recollection of the front portion of the cover is that it has a channel that isolates the igintion wires and serves to prevent dust from getting down into the timing belt cavity. It's been a spell since I poked around there.
The rest covers up the vacuum hoses and wires around the intake plenum.
