Question Outside temp sensor location?

Where is the sensor that reads the outside temperature?

While driving around today, it read a constant '95 degrees. Usually if it has been sitting, it reads high but after a bit of driving, it seems reasonably accurate...today it was way off.

Found it...thanks Richard.
The last couple days it has reacted very slowly. Lexus wants $33.XX and it is a special order part.
Is there a test procedure to check for accuracy?

doubt it--if the service manuals had a decent index I would try to look it up--but they don't.

Check ambient temperatuer sensor?

Remove from radiator grill
Disconnect sensor

Check resistance between terminals 1 and 2

Resistance

at 77 degrees 1.6 - 1.8 Ohms
at 122 degrees 0.5 - 0.7 Ohms

As the temperature increases the resistance decreases

Thanks MTS-lexus

I went looking through the service manual and came up for that particular sensor.
