Exclamation Source for Lexus stock brake pads at good price

Hi guys,

My Brother-in-law has a 93 LS 400. He is looking for a good source to get OEM stock brake pads. I DID try the search under several subjects but they returned way too many links than I care to look through. So I am asking you guys who is a good source for original OEM Lexus/Toyota parts at a good price?

Thanks,

www.irontoad.com

Deal exclusively with imports and can get you virtually any part from their network of suppliers.

Default Try Carson Toyota on this forum.

As a member on this forum, I have been pleased with the discount and service provided by the team at Carson Toyota.

I too have been pleased with the service and discounts offered by Carson. Their direct number is 888-747-4777 and I normally ask for Gordon although I hear all of the people there are good.

Since they're in California and you're in the east, you should also check with Champion Toyota-Gulf Freeway in Houston. They offer similar discounts (20-25%) and the shipping may be less. Their direct number is 800-327-2087. Work with anyone there except Laddie V. He doesn't listen and will ship you the cheap part even if that's not what you want.

I've really looked to try and find an eastern OEM parts discounter. I've seem reference to Lexus of Manhattan but there seems to be just one person to ask for. Maybe someone else will provide his name and number.

Good luck,
George

I bought mine from irontoad.com. The parts actually come from a Lexus dealer. I have received all my orders from them in less than a week. Recommended .

irontoad.com is my only dependable source and at very attractive prices.
They're located on the East coast. I'm located in Hawaii and it's worth it to go over to the right coast.

Thanks for the reply guys. He couldn't wait since his pads were way low so he just bought it at the local Toyota dealership.

Oh whoever said Napa, I wanted stock as in OEM brake pads not aftermarket.

I've noticed recently that the Toyota dealers around me have a parts sale every couple of months where they offer 20-25% off parts like brake pads, spark plugs and filters. This is normally the same level of discount I get from the suppliers on the internet and I don't have to pay shipping (but do have to pay sales tax). Anyway, with a little planning you can get these things at the sale time so you have them when you need them.

The dealers around here send out a flier to their preferred customers announcing the sale. Just stop by and talk to a parts guy to get on that list.

For those in the Wash DC metro area, both Jack Taylor and Springfield Toyota have these sales.

BTW, I've never heard of a local Lexus dealer that offers any kind of discount on parts, even to regular cutomers.

George
