96' throwing p1600 code
I don't know what the issue is. Fuses are fine and battery volt is fine. My next step is to check the ecu so I was wondering because I have another LS that's a 95'. I looked up if they are capable and didn't find much just a maybe so I'm here trying to make sure I could before I swap em out.

Or just pull the ECU and open it up to inspect, no use trying to chase down problems without knowing if the ECU is healthy or not.

In terms of being able to swap the ECU from your 1995 LS into your 1996, it's not straightforward
It depends on the part numbers of both. You'll need to do some more research
It also depends if both cars have Federal standard ECUs or California specific ECUs, as they function differently
