Hello, I have been working for about a month or so on a mild-restoration of a 1999 LS400. Its lived its life in the Northeast USA and so the rear subframe was a little crusty. Long story short I sourced all the subframe parts from California cars to end up with a clean subframe. Somehow in this swap I threw away or lost the "stopper" bushings that go between the front differential mounts and connect to the bottom of the subframe.
When I am on the dealer's website, I see there are two variants of these stoppers and the associated washer plates: [Stopper] 41653-24050 - H=17.5 [Stopper] 41653-50041 - H=19.8
[Washer] 90201-15020 - T=1.0
[Washer] 90201-15021 - T=2.0
I am assuming the "H" stands for the height of the stopper in mm and the "T" stands for the thickness of the washer in mm.
My question to you is; How do i figure out which stopper and washer combo to get. I have a feeling these play a role in the alignment of the differential geometry. Any insight into this obscure issue would be greatly appreciated! The parts people at the dealer have no clue unfortunately.
Are you sure that's the right parts diagram? I'm pretty sure the 99 LS400 should have 4 differential mounts. 2 in the back (exhaust), 2 in the front (engine).
I forget when they switched over, but that diagram you're using looks like the earlier differential mount design which only had one front (engine) mount.
This all being said, I may be mistaken as the diagram may be edited in a way to only show one of the two mounts.
2000 LS400:
As for your question, I haven't got the slightest clue. I am just here to posit this question about your diagram. Good luck on the restoration!

The diagram does look slightly off from reality, However, this diagram is from the dealers parts site matched to my VIN and Model/Year. When looking at my old photos and then looking up those stoppers on ebay, they look just like the ones I threw away by accident. So i think the model numbers are right, its just the diagram that is incorrect. Thanks!
